Aired Dec. 26, 2014 - He is 23 years old. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, he came to the United States 9 years ago. He has finished his high school here in the United States. Upon completion of his high school education he earned an excellent GPA. After applying to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the finest universities in the United States, he received a full scholarship after a long qualification interview and rigorous admission process. He has completed his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering/computer science and mathematics with a GAP of 5.0 (an equivalent of 4.0 by MIT grading system). He then was granted yet another full scholarship by MIT to complete his graduate degree and received his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering/computer science in just 6 months and with a GPA of 5.0 (an equivalent of 4.0 by MIT grading system).
