Kidist Elias is a 3rd-year A+ medical student at African Beza college in Addis Ababa who fell victim to cyber-crime.

The trouble started for Kidist when her supposedly best friend asked her to help her with an exam. Kidist refused. The so-called “best friend” then decided to take a revenge on Kidist and created several fake Telegram and Facebook accounts in her name and used it to post sexual content and ethnic slur, which made her life miserable.
