Hana Girma is a talented opera singer and Ethiopian Idol winner. She was only 9 when she was a contestant on Ethiopian Idol. She was the only Ethiopian Opera at the contest.

In 2015, Hana released her first Album, Ewnet. She is the first Ethiopian singer who won scholarship to Brooklyn College in Boston. Currently she is a music student at Brooklyn College.

Hana was lucky enough to have been mentored by distinguished Ethiopian composer Teddy Mack. Teddy has been a judge on another TV reality show named Balageru Idol that aimed to discover the best singer in Ethiopia through nationwide auditions.
