Arsene Wenger spotted taking London bus ahead of crunch Arsenal showdown

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was known for his flowing football rather than parking the bus – but times have certainly changed now.

The Frenchman is no longer managing the Premier League giants after leaving his role at the end of last season, with Unai Emery now in charge.

Wenger has been making the most of his time away from management by keeping a low-profile, but it seems his attempts didn’t work on Wednesday.

The 69-year-old was seen in North London catching the bus to Finchley, with one eagle-eyed supporter spotting him waiting at the bus stop.

Wenger was dressed in smart attire, and was perhaps in the area ahead of his former side’s crunch Europa League showdown on Thursday night.

The Gunners face French side Rennes in the second leg of their last-16 tie at the Emirates, and face an uphill task to reach the quarter-finals. mirror.co.uk said.
