The rumor mill is bubbling, but Neymar himself keeps covered. Now the Brazilian spoke up and remained suspiciously restrained.
Star striker Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain has avoided a clear commitment to his club. “My goal is now the World Cup, it’s not the moment to talk about transfers,” he said at FOX Sports, addressing the rumors surrounding a possible move to Real Madrid.
The Royal should also have an eye on Neymar thrown at Manchester United. The 26-year-old, however, had only changed last summer for the record sum of 222 million euros from FC Barcelona to PSG.
Is there another change? Neymar remained unclear: “Everyone knows why I came here and what goals I’m pursuing.” The constant demands of journalists would “already bore Neymar.” Currently, the player is recovering from a foot injury and hopes to be ready for the World Cup.
PSG boss: Neymar remains “2000 percent”
Not 24 hours earlier, PSG President Nasser had stressed to Al Khelaifi to be “2000 percent sure” that Neymar will play in Paris next season. The offensive player himself, however, did not want to make such a clear statement.
In 30 competitive games this season, he scored 28 goals and 19 assists. On Sunday evening he was awarded as the best player of Ligue 1.
